Welcome to Ontario Youth Parliament
OYP is a Christian-based youth conference that brings together young people from across the province to build friendships, debate current issues, and explore their spirituality.
Calling All Adults! This year we are reaching out to the amazing community of adults - that OYP network of alumni, parents, and volunteers - who have helped made OYP possible each year. "The Link" is going digital this year and we want to 'stay linked' with every adult OYPer possible as we make this transition with our community newsletter. To this end we need you, our wonderful Alumni, Parents, and Volunteers, to follow the link below to our brief online survey. The goal is to allow you to connect with OYP in the manner that best suits you, this year and in the years to come.

Meet new friends
Every year, youth from across Ontario begin the OYP weekend as a group of strangers and end as close friends. Together you will debate, dance, yell cheers and talk late into the night, making friendships that will last a lifetime.
Speak your mind
OYP is a model parliament where youth say what they think on current issues. Although debate is modeled after provincial legislature, this is an non-partisan organization, with each delegate free to speak and vote according to his or her own thoughts.
Know your heart
Spirituality is examined through nightly vespers, a chance to unwind and reflect upon our relationships with ourselves, others, and God. While OYP is Christian-based, we welcome youth of all faiths and encourage an open discussion.
