As young Christians, the participants in OYP recognise the importance
of charity. Each year OYP raises funds and awareness for a "Love
Project." The Love Project consists of a local charity in the host
community, and another charity that focuses on broader youth issues.
This year's charity's are:
- local charity in Welland = The Hope Centre, which provides access to emergency shelter, supplements for groceries or utility bills, literacy development, and recreational opportunities, among other services.
