Meet Friends
Most new delegates at OYP arrive knowing few people or sometimes none
at all. By the end of the weekend complete strangers become close friends,
and connections are made that last lifetimes.
Social events occur throughout the weekend. Beyond the daily debate and spiritual reflection, delegates attend a theme dance on Saturday night and a formal dinner and dance on Sunday night. Love games, which are group activities, are interspersed throughout the weekend to break the ice. Delegates are also invited to strut their stuff at a talent show before the theme dance on Saturday.
