Know Your Heart
OYP is anon-denominational Christian organization,
that welcomes all faith bases, and is based in the United
Church of Canada. At evening vespers, delegates explore their spirituality
and relationships with God. These night-time gatherings give delegates
a chance to unwind, and to reflect upon the spiritual theme for the weekend.
During vespers, delegates are encouraged to explore the Theme through song, discussion, prayer, and quiet contemplation. Vespers is an open and accepting environment, and delegates may speak their mind about their own spiritual awareness and experiences. By speaking their mind and listening to their peers, vespers can give each delegate a unique opportunity to reflect on their lives spiritually, within the context of a political environment.
