November Cabinet Meeting Update

Our November Cabinet meeting has come and gone. We plotted and planned while sharing in each other's company, growing together and working hard to meet our goals.

The OYP crew gathered at Christ Church United in Mississauga—our location for February—and thanks to our Local Arrangements super squad, we've got an amazing space! The congregation is consistently supportive, engaging and receptive; we're so lucky to have so many generous partners here in this community.

Our House Leaders and Legislation team were hard at work this weekend, discussing visionary solutions to issues that will be debated at parliament and finalizing the schedule. The Public Relations committee slaved away creating new ways to reach out to delegates, alumni, and community partners to get everyone prepped and pumped for the main event. New promotional materials are soon to be released; stay tuned on social media.

The Ministers of Individual Discipleship and their Love and Spirit crew cheerfully spent the weekend sharing creative ideas on how to boost the spirit and energy of the parliament weekend. Safetynet is our chosen charity this year, and the Charity ministers have several activities planned to support this great cause! Are you worried that OYP will be scary because you don't know anyone? Don't worry, the Love ministers got some hilarious plans up their sleeves to make you feel utterly at home in our community.

Of course that's not all, but it's enough for now. With this weekend under our belts, we're armed and ready to create the most memorable and magical parliament we can imagine for you. The countdown is on, friends!

P.S. Registration is more than half full! You want in? Register now.
