Testimonials

We know it can be intimidating to go to (or send a child to) an event like Ontario Youth Parliament without knowing exactly what it will be like. Feeling uncertain? Here's what some delegates from the last couple of years had to say about their experience at OYP.

Everyone who welcomed me with open arms, thank you. This was the best weekend of my life.
— Cameron
Ontario Youth Parliament is four days in a year where you can be yourself 100%, a place where you are loved by some of the best people in Ontario, a place where you can be as crazy as you want. A place filled with glitter, snuggles and wacky dance moves. Ontario Youth Parliament is one of my favourite places to be.
— Emily
This was my third year attending and my second year as a legislation minister. OYP has greatly affected my life; because of it I’m not afraid to speak my mind and push for things I’m passionate about.
— Natasha
OYP just ended and I’m left with all the joy and memories of this year’s fantastic parliament. I have met so many incredible people, people who I will always consider to be among my friends and will be looking forward to seeing again. I just wanted to say thank you for the most amazing weekend and I love you all so much.
